“Silver“ Filigree Chandelier
The “silver “curl frame was a gift . The upper facing and steel components were cut out of a hot water cylinders' galvanized outer, held together with galvanized wire circles, all decorated with twinkly glass, crystal & acrylic beads.
Tea-light candleholders are made from a glass lid (middle) & the bottom one is an engraved drinking glass ended off with a glass door knob.
Large: weighs 20kgs.
This piece is currently part of the Cape Craft and Design Institute's Cape Handmade travelling exhibit for 2010.

With Love flowering in the centre as a whole.
Wine barrel rings bent to shape hearts around a round bar ball.
Metal leaves were cut from scrap oil drum off cuts, twisted to resemble the natural shape of leaves and painted with water proof paint.
Adorned with glass & acrylic beads and twisted copper wire.
This chandelier symbolises the love that most people yearn for.

Upper rim cut from an oil drum, curls hand bent from round bar, embellished with electrical motor parts, hearts and flowers cut from metal sheeting with a gas cutting torch, wooden, glass & plastic beads, driftwood and mattress chains. Sold
